Our Curriculum

Our curriculum is from the Active Learning Series by Cryer, Harms & Bourland. We supplement our curriculum by utilizing the Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines, teacher creativity and other materials the teachers deem necessary.

Early Learning Guidelines

Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines for Infants, Toddlers and Twos were created to serve as a foundation to connect what is taught with what is appropriate for very young children. They also provide a framework to encourage consistency among early childhood programs across Oklahoma.

Provides a winning combination of information and activities that help children develop their minds and bodies in a safe and healthy environment.

What Is Pinnacle® Curriculum?

Early childhood education courses provide children with a wealth of knowledge to help them excel in school. Pinnacle® is a research-based early childhood curriculum, designed with both teachers and students in mind. Based on the works of Piaget, Gardner, and Erikson, Pinnacle® provides early childhood educators with lessons that engage children in developmentally appropriate activities. Pinnacle® is published in an easy-to-use, reusable format that includes lesson plan guides, activity enrichments, and long-range goals linked to key standards. Developmentally appropriate child care center curriculum programs are offered for Infants, Toddlers, Two’s, Three’s, Four’s, and School-Age children.
